Repair or replace loose, damaged or blistered shingles Clean gutters and downspout strainers Check gutters for leaks and properalignment Inspect flashings around roof stacks, vents, skylights and chimneys Clear obstructions from vents, louvers and chimneys Check fascias and soffits for decay and peeling paint Inspect chimney for any loose or missing mortar

Re-nail loose siding and check for warping or decay
Paint siding, if necessary
Check masonry walls for cracks or any other damage

Repair concrete or blacktop, ifnecessary
Turn off the TV. and have soft music playing. If at all possible, vacate your home so the buyer’s agent and buyer can talk about your home, without them feeling like you are listening or that they might hurt your feelings with some- thing they say. If you are home when an agent and buyer ar- rive, greet them at the door and if possible go for a walk or drive. If you have children or pets, take them with you. If you cannot vacate your home, then let the agent know and try to confine yourself to a par- ticular area of the home. Be available to an- swer questions, but do not escort the buyer and agent through your home.
Lubricate hinges and other hardware on your garage door Inspect doors and windows for any peeling paint Check condition of glazing around allwindows

Check walls, steps, retaining walls, walkways and patios for cracks, heaving orcrumbling
